This weeks fresh tracks aren’t maybe not the newest ones. Especially number 10 😉 I did however Find them along the way of my research for new music for me to play. This week i arrange them in an order… number 1 is my number 1 from this week. Here we go:
Christian Smith & John Selway – Stamina
#nofilter This is a beast! It came out the 24th of December and i was probably busy eating so i missed it being released. However it’s fresh as f*ck and straight forward peak time and as peak as it can get. Somehow it reminds me a little of a record i have… a classic. Not Ignacio – Virton but something from this time… Help me out here, if you know what i mean, leave a comment below.

2. Oleka – Cathect (Original Mix)
Here’s a straight electro track which is a little glitchy, which makes me like it. It doesn’t try to be something and it isn’t as dark as other Electro releases and i like that to. I do not know the label Mindcut Music from Frankfurt that well but i surely will keep an eye on it.
I didn’t find a link to youtube yet (maybe i will upload a snippet in low quality soon.) Meanwhile you can get it here:
3. Franca – Vipassana (Soukie & Windish Remix)
From beat number one all my being just says “YES” to this track. You won’t find absolutely no fat on this track. Nothing is overdone, every sound is where it needs to be. I simply love it. The bass line by the way is of the sort which never let’s me rest and which will make me keep playing this track a lot in the future.
4. DMX Krew – Urgent Inquiry
One of my favorite musical periods is between 1980-1986 where Breakdance was big and i love that electro emerged out of this area. I love this track because it’s Techno yet Electro yet also breakdance. The use of so few machines is proof that it doesn’t need much to create a captivating dance track.
5. Martin Buttrich – Southwest (Original Mix)
What’s there to say about Martin Buttrich, i mean, this guy is an icon. Not only in the german dance music production scene but all over the world. Plus a release on Carl Craig’s label Planet E… i mean, that’s what we call a sure thing 🙂 Just listen to it.
6. Clark Davis – C3H8No5P
On of my favorites from Ellen Allien is her track “Sunday Mono” and this track as a similar feel to it. To be honest other than that, there’s not much innovation going on in the track but nevertheless it’s solid. And i will surely play it regularly. I like the high hats a lot as well.
7. Nvelope – Afterfade (Matthias Springer remix)
Oh boy oh boy, do i love this track. Starting from every sound, the production value and the feeling. I will play this one surely a lot. The silent Acid line in the background at the beginning is already engaging. It makes me let loose and trust whatever the artist will do.
8. Art Department – Madbar
I had the chance to play alongside Kerri Chandler 2 Years ago at the Unlimited Festival Chamonix. I have an eye on his label ever since and it pays off with tracks like this one. Just straight up #housemusic which can get things rolling again or parties being started to get amazing.
9. CYRK – Chappers said so (Voiski Remix)
As a Belgian living in Germany, i have to mention CYRK. A Belgian and German duo which is for me the best mixture there can be. I do love the whole EP “Superior things” a lot but this track stands out. It stands out because i know Voiski and i still am amazed by this human being. How can one person be so timid and on the other hand being so… #techno ? If you have the chance to see the man work… do it. He takes you places.
10. Emil Teiger – Let’s pretend to be Human (Original Mix)
Okay, this ones from 2011 and i did want to cover another newer track from Emil Teiger at first but it’s not easy to find. While researching a little what he did before i stumbled on this track. It makes my brain tingle. That’s exactly what i like about it.
