Fresh Tracks Universal

Enlin’s Charts Week 5

  1. Cinthie – Boomboomroundtheroom (Original mix)

This is my favorite track of Cinthie’s 803 Crystalgrooves EP. Opening the flip is Boomboomroundtheroom employing dusty drums, frenzied synth stabs and gritty bass chops, a cut harkening back to the most robust sounds coming out of Chicago in the 90’s.

About Cithie: Producer, DJ, founder of many labels, record store-owner and radio personality, Cinthie has grown to become a highly respected figure in the contemporary electronic music scene over the years.

2. Red Axes – Sound Test (Original Mix)

This little gem is one of those tracks wich spirals upwards with almost no end in sight. It kinda makes you high. I see this track as the perfect transition from one chapter in a mix to the next. Check out this Fridays Soundflow.one Mix 005… i’l show you.

3. Falty Dl – If All The People Took Acid (Octo Octa remix)

New York based Falty Dl offers us an Acid treat of the finest order. Octo Octa is taking the acid squelching to an even higher level. The whole Ep was inspired from a 1960s documentary on Acid and its effects on the brain. Enjoy!

4. Lixir – Sunshine

This ones different. Not only from the other tracks already presented in this weeks charts but also in the way that it’s just fresh and there’s no fat on it and it works so wonderfully. Just listen!

5. Paul du Lac – Backstreet Boy

It’s a little “older” it’s just there… keeps on floating through space. Everything is well balanced and even if nothing much is happening, it doesn’t get to boring. I see this one as a perfect transition track… or a last one in a warm-up set. I’ll use it at my set here i think: https://soundflow.one/welcome-to-the-unlimited-2019/

6. Oliver Lieb – Tesla (Reduced Mix)

If there’s somebody out there who shaped the side of Techno / Electronic Music for me personally a lot, then it’s this guy. Oliver Lieb is responsible for at least 5 of my all time favorite 100 tracks. This gem goes right into my “to play list” for 2019.

7. Lowtec – Boy with the broken glasses

I would play this one in the beginning of an 8 hour set to lure people into a groove from which i can let evolve something else very very slowly.

8. Klaps -Acid Head

This track has everything… a very driving and distorted Acid Bassline which evolves over time some haunting vocals and an off-beat synth. I consider this a peak time MONSTER!

9. Black Lotus – Resilience

100% Techno… not more, not less. I consider this a very good start into Techno producing.

10. The Cooler – RiP The Cooler (Kolombo remix)

Finally something from Belgium… at least from a Belgian remixer. I played at some places where Kolombo played as well and i always loved his unique style in House mMusic.
